From playing on Grammy Award-winning records and performing in hit Broadway shows like Hamilton and Waitress to helping young musicians discover their first song, Jeff Kerestes brings musicianship, creativity, and care to everything he does.

Whether he’s performing onstage, shaping an artist’s sound in the studio, creating original music, or inspiring the next generation through The Ukulele Project, Jeff’s work is rooted in a lifelong passion for making music and sharing what it can do.

Jeff and his family relocated from Brooklyn to Portland during the pandemic, finding fresh inspiration and new creative possibilities in the Pacific Northwest. His home studio has become a hub for collaborations with local and national artists—a place to produce records, develop original music, and connect with musicians across the country through remote recording. Alongside his studio work, Jeff continues to perform with a range of artists, both locally in the PNW and internationally.

In 2023, Jeff founded The Ukulele Project to share the joy of music with the next generation. Since then, the program has worked with thousands of young musicians, helping them build confidence, discover their creativity, and experience the fun of making music together.

Jeff is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Multnomah Arts Center Association. MACA is an all-volunteer nonprofit that supports the Multnomah Arts Center and advocates for equitable access to arts education. Through fundraising, scholarships, community outreach, and improvements to arts spaces and equipment, MACA helps make creative opportunities more accessible and affordable for the community.
